Chinese man in court after allegedly stealing knife worth Sh5,000

A Chinese man has been charged with robbery with violence at the Makadara Law Courts after he allegedly stole a knife worth Sh5, 000 from his friend.
 Guo Song is said that have committed the offence on the 18th of March with others not before the court.
Song is alleged to have arrived at the house of Rongqing Tao in South B while in the company of four men and forced his way in after pushing the complainant’s wife to the ground.
He then proceeded to the kitchen where he picked a knife before heading to the bedroom looking for the complainant.
Luckily, Tao was awoken by his wife’s scream and bolted out of the bedroom but met the accused as made his out.
Tao allegedly threatened to kill Song if he was not going to pay back the money he reportedly owed him.
He was however restrained by workers who heard the commotion and rushed to rescue of the complainant.
Tao was later arrested.
He was remanded till Monday 15th when the case shall be mentioned after the prosecution asked for the postponement of his bond terms and hearing date till the he provides two Kenyan sureties that he was not a flight risk
