Wahome Gakuru's driver to be charged with careless driving causing death

The driver of the late Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru will be taken to court in Kigumo today.
He will be charged with killing the Governor through careless driving.
Gakuru died on Tuesday last week at Thika Level 5 Hospital following a grisly road accident near Kabati.
He was reportedly travelling to Nairobi for an interview at Kameme FM when the accident occurred.
The late governor will be buried on Saturday.
His death saw DG Mutahi Kahiga sworn-in as the fourth county boss.
Gakuru was only in office for about 90 days as he was elected in the August 8 general election. 
He was a governor aspirant in the 2013 race but lost to the late Nderitu Gachagua.
